Ensemble Proton Bern augments its core instrumentation and gets together with the Bernese jazz band, Le Rex to stage a «big band spectacular». The audience will be led through the evening by the stylish and entertaining graces of soprano, Marie-Audrey Schatz and Ivy Monteiro. «Ich schwärme für dich...!» (I'm mad about you…!) tells stories of passionate, failed, tricky and impossible love. Music, text and song evolve in a cooperation between both ensembles and the composers Oxana Omelchuk, Marina Sobyanina and Matthew Welch. Just as colourful and multifaceted as love is, so too the mix of new sounds, kitsch, cliché and cleverness as well as impro interludes that redefine and break boundaries. An evening of song that detonates its own tightly strung corset! You'll be mad about it too…
