Protonwerk is the platform for contemporary music, created by Ensemble Proton Bern. With the support of Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia we have been working together to inspire the upcoming generation of composers at the beginning of their professional careers.
Ensemble Proton Bern
is an eight-member collective dedicated to the latest music. We play
our instruments (or sometimes don’t), we are interested in listening, in
finding sound and expression together, and last but not least, in
pushing boundaries.
We are looking for artists who have a strong vision and take us into their world. This requires an intensive exchange that is often lacking in the everyday music business. With Protonwerk, we aim to create an environment where there is enough time for an extensive creative process.
