Each year Ensemble Proton Bern invites an ensemble for contemporary music from another Swiss or European city to Bern. The renowned and multi-award-winning Ensemble Linea from Strasbourg heeds the call and will a perform a unique programme at the "residence" of Ensemble Proton, the Dampfzentrale, so that Bernese audiences can get a taste of fare from further afield. In return, Ensemble Proton will tour to Alsace, France in 2025.
