Ensemble Proton Bern does more or less exactly that what the Jazzwerkstatt does: the exchange between musicians from many different countries and the performance of new music.
A collaboration was most overdue! With backup in the form of a brass section selected from the Jazzwerkstatt community, Ensemble Proton Bern will be conducted by, and play new charts by Canadian composer and jazz musician, Matthew Welch.
